Allergy can be said to be the body responds in a hypersensitive way to damaging substances in an environment.
It is important to know that allergies are of different kinds and they can affect people differently. Some of these substances that lead to allergy in a person could include a specific kind of foods pollen fur or dust. When you hear of a person being allergic to certain things it means that the person reacts to substances in the environment that are harmless to most of the people. One of the allergy tests is the allergy skin test. Skin testing is one that checks for immediate reactions to as many allergens at ago. You can either get positive or negative results . Another type of allergy test is spirometry. This test is also known as a lung function test . This type of test is specifically used to diagnose asthma. Asthma is a disorder in which a person that Narrows swells and produces extra mucus than it’s supposed to produce. The different kinds of animals that are available in the environment are adult-onset, asthma allergic and nonallergic asthma occupational asthma and exercise asthma.
Most of the time asthma is found in a person who is allergic to allergens. Spirometry is where an individual uses a device to inhale and exhale to measure his or her lung function. For results to be accurate and certain this test is done at least three times.
